The demand for Paine Falls' custom center pin reels has been extremely positive and somewhat overwhelming; making it difficult to keep up with current orders.  With little free time available, creating inventory or stock is impossible. I've made the decision to place custom reel building on hold with the exception of the completion of orders currently in progress. There will always remain a certain level of customization available on standard products, but it will be limited to: Size, color, LH/RH retrieve, engraving and brass accents for those who like a classic look.

While custom orders are being placed on hold for the time being, I would like to state that if it is truly your desire to have a custom reel built at Paine Falls, please feel free to contact via phone or email. When time permits, custom reels will be produced, however, with a more reasonable lead time of 6-18 months.
