built the reel to my specs and the finished product is awesome! It
starts up effortlessly, cast like a dream, the anodizing is bomb proof
(that's saying a lot considering how hard I am on my equipment) and it's
very comfortable in my hands. I've found that it fishes

"Drove from Michigan to Ohio and picked up my
new Paine Falls Center Pin reel on 11-2 with much anticipation. Spooled
it up that night and fished the next morning on an eastern Ohio
tributary. Water was low and clear and the fish were skittish. The reel
performed flawlessly! I was amazed at its start up. Flow rate was
extremely slow but the reel acted like it had no clue. The reel
delivered line as if we were at twice the flow. Casting was a dream. The
quality of workmanship is outstanding and a piece of gear I'll be proud
to show to all of my pinning buddies! It'll be my "go to" reel for a
long long time!"

Genesis is AMAZING! I love the quick start up and how smooth the
reel performs. I have fished my
buddies
Milner's, Mykiss, and Kingpin's, and they are nice reels, but The Paine
Falls Genesis, in my opinion, is a much better reel hands down. I have
fished it in -20 degree weather and haven't had a single problem with
freeze up. The quick release is a great thing to have in that rare case
you do need to pop the spool off to clean it out. It spin casts and side
casts smoothly, and balances great on my 13' plus rod. I can't wait to
pick up another one! Keep up the great work and I am proud to own
one of your reels, an American built reel!
